
SCRAP METAL DAY Saturday 5th November 2011.
The Club is holding a scrap metal collection on Saturday 5th November 2011.
We can help clean up your environment at no cost to you. People are urged
to collect any unwanted scrap metal on your premises and donate to Dripsey
GAA Club.
Items acceptable include:
Household Items: Aluminium, saucepans, biscuit tins, tin cans, radiators,
galvanised iron, kettles (not plastic), electric cookers, dishwashers, washing
machines, golf irons, sink tops, ironing boards, clothes iron, copper, food
mixers, electric knives, bicycles, steel swings, goal posts, old car batteries.
Farm and other Machinery: Old cars, engines & parts, gates, wheelbarrows,
trailers, corrugated iron, batteries, ploughs, wheels, scaffolding, steel
gutters, milk cans/tanks/coolers, ring feeders.
Items not acceptable: Fridges, freezers, televisions, timber, tyres, gas
bottles, plastic, ceramics or household rubbish. The collection is being
done in conjunction with a licensed waste disposal company. Doing so will
help the club raise funds, please support.
